ADA Compliant Restroom Identification Signage
In effort to protect the rights of the visually impaired, among others, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) civil rights legislation prohibits discrimination and guarantees that people with disabilities are given the same opportunities as everyone else. Public restroom identification signage design and placement is regulated by the ADA Standards for Accessible Design outlined within this legislation. Our ADA Signage experts understand these regulations and are able to provide the latest in signage industry design and knowledge for you and your customers.
Our 100% USA made interior signage is designed, manufactured and assembled within our interior signage department. Equipped with all signage manufacturing equipment necessary to produce ADA compliant interior signage, Howard Industries is able to turn your signage order around within two weeks of date placed. All ADA compliant signs consist of a non-glare surface, contain raised tactile copy and Grade 2 Braille.
In addition, our HID paper insert sign system allows your customer to change the background graphic to coordinate with and beautify surrounding interior environments. End users may simply remove the non-glare lens with a suction cup and replace the paper insert located below.
These types of regulatory signs may be required for Building Occupancy Permits.
